Volunteer With RCW Volunteers To Support Long Term Care Residents
Why does RCW need volunteers?
We all have grandparents, parents, sisters and brothers, uncles and aunts and friends that are living in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult family homes and veteran homes. Over the next five to ten years there will be 80,000,000 people over the age of sixty-five with 70% needing healthcare services. There are certain realities we must all face, long term care facilities will not be able to care for our loved ones as we think they should, we must all share in that responsibility.
The Resident Councils of Washington (RCW) is a not for profit corporation, as defined by the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c)3. RCW is looking for volunteer ombudsman, activity directors, retired seniors, students and family members to assist RCW in supporting long term care residents.
