RCW is the only independent consumer based statewide resident council in the United States and needs your support to continue. Resident Councils of Washington is a not for profit corporation, as defined by the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c)3. To join the RCW Membership, go to our resident council store, help RCW to help residents in long term care facilities.
How does RCW benefit the resident or family member?
• RCW provides a forum autonomous to residents in nursing homes and assisted living
• RCW helps residents in long term care facilities live their life to the fullest
• To help make positive changes for residents
• To prevent discrimination of residents because of age or disability
• Ensures resident rights are ensured and enforced
• Provides technical assistance for facility resident councils
• Provides phone consultation to residents and family members

• RCW provides current trends and updates which affect residents, families, facilities
